Jeremy Langford- Glass Artist & Sculptor

Widely regarded as one of the world's foremost architectural glass artists, Jeremy Langford apprenticed in his native London and went on to practice and hone his artistry in Australia, South America, the United States and the Middle East. From studios in Israel and England, Jeremy has produced a vast array of public and private art in a variety of interior and exterior venues - educational institutions, high-end residences, the lobbies of commercial properties, religious buildings, museums - throughout Europe, North America and Israel. Projects include commissions in the British Museum, the President's Residence in Jerusalem, Trump Towers Sunny Isles Beach and the Israel Supreme court.

He is currently working on a number of projects one being the central work of art for the lobby of the new Waldorf Astoria Hotel in Jerusalem and a stained glass project at the ancient site of Rachel’s Tomb in Bethlehem. Ranging in style from modern to classical and in form from abstract to functional, his repertoire encompasses over 30 different techniques such as stacked, sculpted, stained, molded, sand carved and painted glass. The scale varies from tabletop to monumental. Jeremy infuses his art with an intimate spiritual energy, drawing upon natural and projected light to bring forth glass objects and sculptures known for their boldness and breadth of expression.

His truly one-of-a kind creations reflect a never ending personal exploration of intersections and boundaries between the material and the metaphysical. Through the artist's imagination and touch, glass - paradoxically imbued with translucence and opacity, strength and fragility - becomes both medium and metaphor, ever changing, ever mysterious, ever compelling.
